In October 2016 I was invited to once again serve as publicist for the opening presentation of Sage Theatre's 2016-17 season - Irish playwright Mick Gordon's powerful 2011 work Bea. Artfully telling the story of a young woman confined to her bed - and her imagination - by a progressively debilitating illness, Sage's production of Bea touched on the subject of love, compassion, and a person's right to choose their own death.
